  1. I think you should look into getting a booth set up at Mayberry Days in Mount Airy, N.C. sometime. It’s an annual celebration of The Andy Griffith Show, with lots of guests/artists/celebrities/singing/autographs/crafts, and I’m sure there has to be lots of crossover between the fan groups. The surviving people who played the Darlings (most notably, Maggie “Charlene Darling” Peterson) are always a big hit, and they’re about as close to Snuffy as it gets!

Heck, even if you decided not to get a booth there, you’d probably still have a blast just visiting!

    • Tim, I would love to go to Mayberry Days! If they would invite me I think it would be a lot of fun! It’s one of my all-time favorite tv shows!

  2. I wish I knew of an event to invite you to in West Virginia. I’m no kid, but I’d still love to sit in on a talk/demonstration. It sounds like loads of fun!

    • I’d really enjoy coming to West Virginia! I don’t live very far from certain parts of West Virginia. If there’s a public library or a large civic group that would be interested in having me do a Snuffy Smith Chalk Talk, please give them this website address and ask them to contact me. Thank you for thinking of me!
